Friction materials development and manufacturing
Frenos Sauleda is a friction material manufacturing company for more than 95 years now. We offer a wide range of industrial products made out of friction products. These can be molded, CNC machined, waterjet, etc. and can be delivered in many different shapes and formats. Thanks to our differnt hot stamp press sizes, we are able to supply from very tiny and small parts to big sheets or thick press blocks.
Sheets go from 0.5mm up to 75mm thickness, in 762 x 762 mm as largest size
Lining or ring dimensions go from ø10mm up to ø990mm
Assembly unit
Our assembly unit offers both hot and cold bonding between our friction parts and metal backing plates. Riveting service is also available. Including two sandblasting machines (manual and automatic one), a glue applying automatic roll machine, 3 big ovens with big capacity and endless tooling for any brake part size / shape, we make sure the adhesion is fully guaranteed. Shear tests are done on every batch according ISO standards to prove that the bonding adhesions are way over the minimum requests.
